YARD WASTE DROP-OFF

The Solid Waste District has a drop-off area at both facilities for yard waste at the reduced recovery rate of $30.00/ton for clean, separated organic material. All yard waste material must be loose/bulk or in a paper yard waste bag. Yard waste brought in plastic bags will be charged a higher rate.

TIRE RECYCLING

Residential Tire Recovery

This program offers FREE tire disposal at both the North and South Solid Waste Facilities. Montgomery County residents may bring up to 10 vehicle tires per residence per year for no cost, Monday through Saturday during regular hours of operation. PROOF OF RESIDENCY REQUIRED.

Note: Ohio EPA requires a manifest to transport more than ten (10) tires.

Farm Tire Recovery

The Farm Implement Tire Recovery Program will be available free of charge twice a year for Montgomery County Farmers. Both the North and South Solid Waste Facilities will designate special days in the spring and fall for unlimited free farm tire drop-off. Call the Recycle Hotline at 225-4999 for the next dates or for additional information.

Residents with more than 10 tires, commercial, industrial and out of district customers may bring tires to either facility for a disposal fee of $132.00/ton (in-district) or $158.50/ton (out-of-district).
