(& Refrigerant Removal Program)
LARGE HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE RECOVERY
Large household appliances will be accepted at no charge twice a year from Montgomery County residents at the North and South Solid Waste Facilities. Call the Recycle Hotline at 225-4999 for specific dates. 

Appliances are also collected daily at both facilities for the normal disposal fee. See examples below for estimated cost.

Refrigerant Removal Program
Refrigerant removal service is available at both the North and South Solid Waste Facilities. All appliances will be recycled and the CFC's removed free of charge by certified technicians. 

CFC Removal Cost: Free (limit 5 per year, then fee applies)
Daily Appliance Disposal Cost (In-District): Based on weight at  $36.00 per ton
