What Should I Do If....
My paint is dried up: It is absolutely fine to discard completely dried up paint with your normal trash.

I have a small amount of paint left: Mix with kitty litter, sawdust or leave the lid off to harden and then discard with your normal trash.

I have empty containers that held paint, motor oil or blacktop sealer: Discard with your normal trash.

My paint is fine, but I don't want it: Although it can be dropped off at our facilities, have you thought about donating it to a reuse center, a church or someone who could use it?

I have empty aerosol cans: Discharge completely, remove plastic nozzle and recycle or discard with trash.

Transportation Guidelines
Keep materials in original containers. If a substance is unknown, label the container "UNKNOWN."

Do not mix different materials together in the same container.

Make sure each container is properly sealed, labeled and secured for transport.

Keep flammables away from corrosives.

Place materials in the trunk of automobiles to avoid possible odors or spills in the passenger area. Do not transport the waste material in the trunk with groceries, etc.

Once the waste material is loaded, come directly to the collection site.
